what is realy strange is that iq's seem only to have risen drasticly in the one state that voted democrat this time but republican last time, i've no idea on the validity of the site in question, but i do know it was posted on here back in 2000 and once again it made out that stated that voted for gore had higher iq's that states that voted for bush.

i suspect that its more democratic bullshit i'm afraid, however some of those iq figures are worryingly low, i wonder if there is any connection between rising waistlines and diminishing iq's, that said look at the past few presidents of the usa.

jimmy carter, g bush, bill clinton and g w bush are all from those southern states (or were naturlised there) only regan wasnt from one of those supposedly low iq states and yet with the exception of gw bush no one is suggesting that any of the others were stupid or unintelligent, that would suggest that the figures quoted on the site were a little suspect to say the least.

According to the site they were corrolated by some american Wealth and Nations report which subsequently got retracted. So who knows if the stats are correct. By the way ABCman did you have a go on the quiz link below my thread. It is quite good.

err no, i didnt click your link at all as i recognised the url, it was being posted for a few days in an american political forum that i'm a member of and as i said as soon as i saw the site i recognised it as being very similar to one posted on df after the democrats lost the election in 2000
