POP star Paul Weller has signed up to support Fathers 4 Justice.

The ex-Jam and Style Council frontman plans to stage a benefit gig for the controversial group in London’s Leicester Square early next year.

The divorced dad of two was persuaded to get involved by his drummer and friend Steve White.

A pal said: “Paul has friends who have problems getting to see their kids. It’s an issue he feels strongly about.”

Paul, 46, aims to perform alongside Steve and Ocean Colour Scene’s Steve Craddock and Damon Michella.
