Add/Remove Programs can`t Remove!?

I went to install some new ATI drivers on my machine earlier, and went to Add/Remove Programs to delete the current drivers.
There I discovered that 90% of the entires in the list have no "button" to allow me to Rmove or Modify the installation.

Any ideas what I need to do, I`ve searched without any success so far....

WinXP with SP2 installed via WindowsUpdate.

has your user account got admin privilidges? and also, try booting in safe mode maybe?

Yep mate, my account is the Admin account, and I have tried safe mode - same deal.
I have looked on the MSKB and on the net but all I`ve found is stuff related to removing entires from the list that have already been deleted (but stayed in the list).

Its mad, I`ve even tried adding registry entries etc from guides, but still no go.

Have you tried opening up my computer, c-drive, then selecting windows or program files and then the folder/file you want to delete...right click and delete folder/file to recycle bin....try this anyway Hope that works

Get a program called Advanced Uninstaller Pro - you can get a 30 day trial from either their website or download.com

It should let you uninstall any program on your machine, even if you can't get rid of it through add/remove normally

It's quite handy as you can also use it to clear out your hard drive, select what programs run at startup (even the one's you didn't know about) and it will also remove browser helper objects from internet explorer that you don't want
