    Default Range Rover (Old Type)

Could any of you guys tell me which OKI device it is that is fitted into old style Range Rovers? Also if there are any other compatible EEPROM's with the one fitted? I wont add insult to injury and ask how you calc the mileage, I'll work it out

    Cheers...

    hi
cannot remember the number, but it is a 28 pin dil eeprom.
& there is a second memory.
to get round the second memory when you take off the chip, put the dash back & run it for a couple off mins, program chip ,job done

Thanks but programming not a problem. Have one coming in on Saturday and I want to use it as a test for some software I am writing. I need to have replacement eeproms ready in case owt daft happens, hence why I need to know which EEPROM is installed or at least another compatible device..

All went OK, thanks for the info guys. Setting miles within a .bin dump in the format 1234xx was easy as Thousands/Hundreds of miles is easily seen. Which bytes are set for 10's and units miles?
