Nokia 6600 gprs connection timeouts?

I have a problem and I'm wondering if it's the phone and if anyone has some experience similar to this and has found a fix...

Been trying to get activesync for an iPaq h2200 to work through the Internet using GPRS as connection method. I finally got it working on my mobile (nokia 6100) using the IR port. :thumbs
Now I tried the exact same settings on a Nokia 6600 through BlueTooth and it worked perfectly once, only once. After getting it to work the first time on the 6600 I couldn't get the iPaq to connect successfully to the phone again. I also tried through the IR port and this also wouldn't work. :|:grr::nowords::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr:
During the initial BlueTooth connection I was also able to get the iPaq to dial a number from the contacts list through the phone, but now the iPaq is reporting that it sent the message to the phone, but nothing happens on the phone.
Connecting to the Internet through my 6100 still works fine.
I'm wondering if there is a way to reset the connection settings on the phone and if anyone knows about bug in the connection settings with this nokia6600?

I forgot to add both phones are using the O2 network in Ireland.
Is it possible to update the firmware on this nokia 6600?
