movie section ratings / pages scrolling automatically

I got an infraction for not leaving a rating in the movie section... I noticed the other day, purley by chance, whilst editing a post in that section when you check the box for your rating, then preview it, and maybe edit it again, the rating box clears itself. Fair enough my mistake for not double checking but it's something that's easily missed if you are unaware. I use firefox and I have noticed this on other sites too, if I click back or refresh settings like this change, which can be annoying. Hope I didn't screw things up too much, sorry.

something completely different, when I click on a post sometimes why does the page insist on going to the bottom every time instead of to the top where the original post is, even when I try an drag the scroll bar up it keeps resetting itself until the whole page has loaded?

If you click the link to the post, it takes you to that post, which would be the end of the page if its the most recent post.
The jumping is from peoples gamer card sigs I think
