Emulator for PS2?

I have a large collection of Genesis/Mega Drive roms which I currently play on my PC using a program called Gens, those who play Genesis roms I'm sure will know what I'm on about.

I recently got a PS2 and I've been using it with Swap Magic (and slide tool) things are going good and I have a wide variety of games.

What I'm looking for though is an emulator I can use ON the PS2, when I used my dreamcast I had DreamSNES and about 50 roms on one CD, I could play them and save on the VMU and everything was cool, is there anything like this for the PS2? Would really be useful, I'd be willing to trade/share roms with anyone who could help me.

I have the SNES for ps2... they is loads of roms on it, think its 2 disc...

but wuld be nice to have the sega, ultimate wuld be a gameboy, but never seen one... :|

you can burn these straight onto a dvd and it'll boot ok? will i need to use swap magic, thanks a lot bud, karma 2 be added.

I done as the instructions stated, used nero, made an ISO with the 2 files, a seperate directory with the roms in it, burned at mode/x2 or whatever it was and when it boots (no problem with boot methods) it didn't load, just said it wasnt a ps2 disc.

any ideas?

The snes emulator for the ps2 is poor, the ps2 just isnt powerfull to handle the emulation well enough, many games suffer badly because of ths, the genesis emu p-gen is good though, you can emulate nes games on the playstation one (along with sms) and pc engine so simply burn the psx emulators to a disc and use them as you would any homebrew that you write yourself.

do you have to have the xbox chipped to get it working on there though?

no it doesnt need to be chipped, try searching the xbrick section for "softmod"
