what program do i need

i'm trying to view some pics on a web site but all i get is " X user posted image "

what program do i need to view the images that come up with a little white square with a red X in it.

is it some thing to do with my pc. missing program file

I might be totally wrong but could it be that you don't have java on your PC. I don't think that windows includes it in its software anymore so you need to download it directly from Java.

when i have looked for it i always end up at sunsystems who would not let ms put it in xp and they always want cash for it.

i already have java in stalled.

i downloaded and installed the one on your link just to be on the safe side but it didn't help.

Could be that the links to the pics are no longer valid.

ye the pic will be down m8.. or as mentioned, invalid links. nothing on your end.. a red x is just IE's placeholder for failed images. if you can view images on other sites.. eg the big image at the top of df and the little pics that make up the buttons etc then youve nothing to worry about.
