I HAVE SUREAL64 ON MY DASHBOARD,
I HAVE MADE A DVD DATA DISK
FULL OF N64 ROMS BUT THE EMULATOR DOESNT RECOGNISE THEM MUST THEY
HAVE A SPECIFIC FILE EXTENSION OR SO A USE A CD DATA DISK OR WHAT ?

Make sure surreal.ini points to the correct rompath d:\roms probably in your case.
I renamed all my roms suffixes from usa to n64 although a lot of them still don't work.
Surreal and N64 emulation in general is still very much a 'work in progress'.

does your dashboard see the disc sometimes it will come up as unknown if the disc is in a format it wont read, my xbox wont read any dvd+ i write now since i got a new dvd-rw its adrive issue mabe.

:thumbs cheers pal I think that will solve my problem , i like 64 stuff but find the pc lacks the joypad even with a usb 2 n64 pad i thought the xbox would b a natural but u say the emu is crap ?

:nono cheers pal , no my dvds are all - and i`ve had no probs since this emu thing n y way someone has told me i must make sure sureal.ini points to d:\roms or a valid pathname

make sure you delete any Save files for Surreal64 every time you change anything.
