Just a little thing I discovered tonite....
I burnt luigis mansion and wario ware inc party games onto 2 dvd+r both worked a treat.. Had to try +
because I had read most everywhere that they didnt work.
Both full size dvds burnt with nero 6.6.0.0 written at 4X finalise dvd ticked.
Oh and these were cheap dvds.. mcc blue overprints. Burnt on an nec 2500a.
This was after luigis mansion failed on a bulkpaq mini dvd-r.

Just done a couple more and they are fine ..
Resident Evil 4 with the + 6 trainer works a charm :thumbs

what writer were you using prior to the Pioneer 109 m8?
what setting is your laser at? have you adjusted it at all?

i got some of these Memorex Mini DVDR (CMC Dye), burned Legend Of Zelda Wind Walker at 4x, boots o.k, i.e. gets past the gamecube logo, but then gives a disc read error, yet the same image burned at 1x on Dataon media works fine :nowords:

laser has been set to approx 215Ohms and using Nero to burn images.

Gamecube laser untouched
