ritek mini dvdr where to get in the uk

i am having trouble getting some games to work on my cube i have tweeked the laser to 230 ohms but stil starwars 2 and pikmin 2 and mario tennis dont work i think its the media i have tried datasafe minis and only got waverace and paper mario to work ok metroid 2 sometimes works

so if any of you have any extra info on how to get games working or where to get ritek minis in the uk any help would be great

I am too looking for Ritek Mini's in the UK, we should sort out a list of who's looking for what because i suppose we could get a bulk order from the us as it would be alot cheaper?

On the Datasafe Mini note, i tried burning at 1x, didn't work, 2x, didn't work. 4x worked!!! How weird is that!!! Maybe try burning a game at 4x if you haven't already & see what the result is, my laser is 190ohms, rev.16, pal a/b unit

yeah id' be up for some ritek mini's too. So if someone's up for bulk ordering i'd go in on it.

Although i'm sure there are UK suppliers, we just need to find it. i'll go on a hunt now.

edit: has anyone tried datawrite 8cm dvd-r? neodiscs sells them & using that site helps DF out too

I should be trying some orange Bulkbaq mini's tonight the Info on they gives code ProdiscS03. Anyone tried these ?

that's a shame. at the moment i've got a few Bulkpaq's (8cm Orange) and I think they are Prodisc03 dye too. How do I find out what the dye is? can I do it in nero or something?

ive been using datwrite a 1 X Minidvdr reds work a treat bout 10-11 quid for a pck of ten from ukdvdr great service as well ordered last night xpect to have um tomorrow

I've got two datawrite red mini's lying about somewhere, will burn them later to see if they work. If you don't have CD identifier, the odds are you're have DVD Decryptor, that also tells you the dye of the disc

Yep, my gc wouldn't play anything without doing that, it was originally 330-ish ohms, changed it to 230, worked with one media, changed it now to 190, works with more media but don't really want to make it any lower to work with most mini dvd-r, most (4/5) ritek full size dvd-r i try work so ritek mini dvd-r i feel would be the best option rather than kill my laser quicker

ive used, datasafe prodisc, bukpaq prodisc and hyundai an32, all work flawlessy on all the games ive tried, but then again i might be lucky with my cube, i have about 10 games, all on different brand and all work.

Just burnt Res Evil 4 to Bulkpaqs minis - seems to be working but has crashed once - I havent done the pot teak yet.

The cheapest place i could find 'em was Amazon at just under a fiver for a five pack. On ebay there about £13-15 for a five pack, didn't look at there postage rates but i think Amazon's price beats them in this case :whistle

He got the disks from a local (to him) small computer shop (Swadlincote Derbyshire) and they were £5 for a box of five. But they are very nice with little jewel cases and everything.
