Default a bit of advice on wirless game adapters

I am looking to get a wirless game adapter for my x-box and having not long purchased a wirless adsl modem/router i am not the most clued up the wirless scene. So a bit of advice on what model is best value for money and where best to purchase from would be much appreciated.

do you mean a wireless controller (gamepad) ? or a wireless connection to connect the xbox to your router for playing xbox Live?

if the former look around in the xbox forum there is a post from a few days ago covering wireless gamepads.

    cheers

aye, I think he means a wireless game adapter to hook up between his router and xbox. If that is the case then check this:

I use DLink Wireless access points (22mbps) in multi point bridge mode and it works fine - never had to fiddle with anything to get it to work

I found if you played online alot you tend to get a lot of lag. I bought a belkin wireless adapter for my xbox but found I had a lot of lag. Fortumetly for me my PC is only 10 foot away from my xbox so I just bought some network cable, ran it under my floorboards and on to my xbox table. Now I play lag free. Oh I forgot to mention the belkin adaptor speed is 54g the same as my network.
My advice would be if at all possible try and use cable unless you really cant help it, it will save you alot of heartache with online gaming.
