Default Free £10 for existing egg customers

    Hi,

I thought that this might be of use to some people on here.

Here's a straight cut and paste from the Egg website.

I can't find the link to this. You get a link to it when you log into your accout.

Why not make taking control of your money one of your New Year's resolutions? We've got just the thing to help.

    Take control
Egg Money Manager can be used as part of the 'Your money' account management page. There, you could see your current account and other online balances alongside your Egg balances.

When you can see all those accounts together, not only do you get better control of your money, you save time and hassle as well. Egg Money Manager is free to all Egg customers and, as you'd expect, it's protected by our fraud guarantee. So if you're not using Egg Money Manager as part of your online servicing already, don't miss out any longer.

    Get started, get a tenner
It only takes a few minutes to get started and because we've still not lost the festive spirit, if you set up Egg Money Manager and add an account before 1 February 2005, we'll credit your Egg Card with the £10 reward by 4 March 2005.

I've just registered now mate, couldn't see anything about £10 though? We'll see if they credit the account with it.

Hmm... I got a screen showing me the details of the free £10 when I logged into my egg account before my list of account (the egg only ones).

I didn't sign up to the Money Manager at that point as I was at work. Now I am at home I've logged in again and I haven't seen the screen with the £10 offer again!

Maybe they have stopped the offer?

It's a shame that it doesn't work in FireFox though

update: I just added a load of accounts to this and within the money manager on the bottom of the table is an entry mentioning the £10 offer...

It doesn't say that on mine, I suspect its because I have a current account rather than a credit account though.
