    Default Wavebirds

Dont deny yourself of the pleasure of wireless padige any longer!

I just got a wavebird and it's by far the best pad i've ever had the pleasure to play with

I got it from ebay for £17 inc shipping from the US and got it today. As soon as it was out the box I ran upstairs like a little kid testing how far it would work. I got it all the way to the other corner of the house and still attempted to play, it worked flawlessly! these pads are rock solid too, even more solid than the wired ones. I'm planning to get 3 more already!

if you own a gamecube my advice is at east get one for yourself!

    Cant vouch for these enought.

Excellent design and a little bit bigger than the normal pads which i find fiddly!

I got 3 myslef and love em, you can really play proper without wires, shaking them round like a raggedy doll! Class!

Think Lik Sang have em for about £20 which isnt bad, however got all 3 of mine from e-bay and it worked out at £35 for the lot.

    Cheers

Just the Vibration or lack of it that (to save batteries) is it's only weakness. Some games use the vibration feature (Resi Evil - Mario Party's) for interaction but other than that they are fantastic.

just thought i'd mention that i've just got another 3 of these coming from america, £40 for 3 inc. postage - felt like a good deal so I just had to make the impulse buy

I just hate wires, they suck.

if it makes you feel better I got the postage cheap :\

they are stupidly expensive in the UK, goldbergs offer is a good one. my first wavebird was $34, the actual pad was only $20 but shipping is always a pain from the US. I went back on ebay and did a nice little trick that can often save a lot of cash. If you go to ebay.com, find what you want (always so much cheaper in the US) and then send the member a nice email saying 'hiya I want these, I have good feedback and a varified paypal account blah blah will you ship to the UK? PLEASE with stuff on top'. I sent out about 5 and got 3 or 4 positive responses, good stuff

I even saw one seller selling them for £7 brand new buy it now...I wish all ebay sellers posted internationally...!
