MP3'S on Nokia 6600

Hi,

I have been told to use Ultra.sis when I want to listen to MP3's on my nokia 6600. I cannot seem to be able to make those mp3's my ringtones etc, surely there must be better software out there which allows me to do this?

Also, when I am transferring games, video clips and tones via bluetooth adaptor as my fone only has a 5mb memory capacity it will not let me transfer any files exceeding this size. When I have a 30mb memory card sitting there doing nothing again surely there is a way I can save direct to memory card instead of phone memory?

Just get a card reader and load direct on to the memory card and put it back in the phone

if you use a file manager you can cut, copy and paste as you would a pc. so you can easily transfer to your memory card http://nokia-6600-software.epocware....e_Manager.html
also make sure you have the phone set up to use the memory card as well

how do I set the nokia 6600 to use memory card memory as well? I have scanned through the phone and cannot find the setting at all, please help?

Go into Messaging, Options, Settings, Other, Memory In Use, select Card...........

You can simply use the nokia 6600 manager that came on the cd with the phone. It might want to convert to wav format but
a) you can stop it in the sttings of the program
b) as the 6600 cannot output stereo it won't matter that mush anyway.

Once transferred (and converted to wav) the phone will play the file as your ringtone.

Best to put ringtones in E:\Sounds\Digital

I have .wav . awb and .mid in there and the phone sees and plays them fine.
