ford 2006 model

hi there,

first of all im sorry if this is in the wrong section but it seemed the most obvious place to post.

a friend of mine has got a ford 2006 radio cassette that until recently has worked fine until the bulb/bulbs behind the display blew. does anyone know of a place online to get the bulbs, my mate has tried motorworld shops etc but with no joy can anybody help.

Try Maplin Electronics if you got one near the bulbs are 12v the size of a match head,take the blown one out of the green holder and fiddle the wires round from the new bulb, about 50p each Cheers Bill

Hi Leerol007 looked in the Maplin Catalogue but the bulb is not listed, it used to be just above
Wire Ended Filament Bulb WQ13P
The bulb you need is a Wire Ended Filament Bulb about 3mm diameter,exactly like WQ13p but slightly smaller.The main Mapins Distribution Centre is just up the road from me and I go there for them.Haven't been for a while but worth ringing up and asking for a slightly smaller bulb than the WQ13p as they might still have them Cheers Bill

Hi Lee, sorry for the delay but found out why I couldn't find it in the catalogue

the discription is wrong on the size,missed a decimal point out on the diameter
Bulbs you wand are BT43W They are slightly smaller than the ford originals but will work fine when you fit them in the holders Good Luck Bill
