Arcade games...

how about having an Arcade section of DF where we can have flash games to play? on ps2ownz they have an arcade section with about 30 or more flash games. All thes games have a high scaores table and if you have the current high score then you get the game name added to your title - although this looks messy if someone has a lot but it could be left out.

The general idea is to have games only members can play. The high scores can be a bit of competition between members to try and better each other. I got a bit competlled earlier to beat someone on ps2ownz and have a high score but I don't care for the members there and it just made me want it over here instead.

If you wanna see a sample you can go to the arcade section of ps2ownz but you'l need to be registered.

It might not be the best suggestion ever and it's a bit off topic to the forums topics but it could add some extra fun....possibly!


opinions from other members would be good as if there is no interest then clearly it's not even worth thinking about.

There are some good flash games around, I`ve got some on my P.C that I play regularly

I like Sonic the Hedgehog, though the one I played was only three levels and there are some good Manic Miner and Chuckies Egg ones out there. They were jscript/java and not flash though.

I think they have to be certain gamesas they integrate into the forum and it's your username that goes into the tables. It also means you can have what you're best at on your profile page as well.

As ps2ownz have the same version of vbulletin i'm sure it would be very easy to impliment, it would just be down to the mods and other members to see if they'd want it added in.

edit: I cant if one should be added then maybe a mod can...i'm sure no1 else will like this idea tho....

Id like to see the arcade games come to this forum as well. I have seen them on others and they look great.

I spoke to xdam about it a while ago and he seemed up for it too.

no promises obviously as the board seems to have a lot more important things on the go, but he was positive

hopefully in the next couple of weeks when the rules/sections are sorted and xdam get's to impliment the 'extra features' he talked about in a post in this section (lol I suck at referencing)
