my 11yr old.. gifted or not?

my 11yr old son has said he has twice seen a "fuzzy blob" appear in front of him and as he stares at the blob a picture starts to emerge, he says he sees a building and a skyline come into focus. and then his concentration is broken by something like a school friend or a noise..

i did a simple test like howmany fingers am i holding up behind my back, and he got 8 out of 10 correct..

how can i take his possible ability further and develope it?

Why am I yellow? Qualify that if you have the ability or will you just send his dad round cos that is the only method of communication you really do understand?

Hope his dad has a hundred on your IQ as he will need it to ensure the lad ends up on the bottom rung of the educational ladder at least.

Seeing blobs could be the discarded dirt from his eyes that you see float down. If this isn't it then he just has an over active imagination, he'll porbably study a form of media later on his life, that's all. Many people claim to see things that don't visibly exist, it's just a mixture of disire and imagination.

The fact that he guesses hands is mearly fluke, noone can ever determin things like that, it's superhuman and impossible. Only camera's and spy equipment can help him see hat you're hiding behind your back, am i'm sure he isn't a 11 year old super spy.

I hope I havn't offended you but you' have offended my friend bertroot so i'm not really too bothered if I have.

Well, first of all I think lisa bott should not have personal insults in her sig and second, I think Mr bertroot should lighten up a bit. I must say I've noticed quite a bit over the last few days you jump all over people for the slightest mistakes they make. So

Just see how your child progresses naturally. Please do not push him on anything as if he does have a gift, he'll be reluctant to show in the company of others if he feels he's always on display. Let his confidence build (he is only 11 after all), see what other talents he develops, then let us know here on Digital Forums and we'll put you in touch with the experts if your son really is gifted.
