    Default Spyware/Virus/Trojan/Dialer = GlobalEaccess?

hey guys, i got a big problem with a file named globalEaccess... it keeps installing software on me machine... dialers as well.

i also keep getting pop ups (not usual ones, they linked with this global thing)

ones from www.ad-w-a-r-e.com and another one comes from some sms ringtone site.

and when ever it happens, it cuts me internet out...

i got an uninstaller for it, but it aint working, i must have a trojan that keep re-downloading the files..

    can anyone help?

if u need anymore info just shout. :thumbs

Have you tried out Microsofts Beta version of Anti Spyware. It was posted further down. I've used it and its pretty good, found things that Norton Anti-Virus and Norton Firewall didnt pick up.

you may have to turn off system restore , run the uninstaller and then power pc off/on immediatley before switching restore points back on , all restore points will be lost

This also happened to me. I went into programs from start button. In there it had an option to uninstall. Pressed that and seemed to work. The worst thing is that it cam up as a pop-up asking if I wanteed to use it. I pressed the x button but it stll went in an installed.

I remember having something like this before I got this other poxy virus. Have you tried uninstalling the version of Internet Explorer and re-installing it?

I think that worked for me last time.

    Worth a try anyhow.

    Also try Spy Doctor. http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/?ref=ov_uk
It found a lot of stuff other things didn't, it doesn't remove it, you'll have to do that manually, but it'll show you where it is.
Also use a registry thing called "registrar lite http://www.resplendence.com/reglite
Which will scan the registry easier. (Well I think so)

(cough) if it helps, Karma pls.

    Info Re: Spyware/Virus/Trojan/Dialer = GlobalEaccess?

My sympathies go out to spencer and others affected with one of these Trojan Beasts.. :censored... :annoyed: Take a look at one of my prev' threads/post. Having took tried and looked at alot of hints and tips from others on the Forum (Thanks Guys :thumbs ), right now the only real Prog' that's curre***y dong it for me is AVG's Anti~Virus Software (should be able to download). Although this version does not completely remove, it have the powers to identify, control by way of healing, and hold any found items in it's vault.

Although I'm aware that this Trojan is still resident, for now AVG is able to control it whilst freeing up much of the problems encountered b4.
My fight and search still goes on for the ultimate removal Prog' (preferably Free/Shareware)
    Updates 2 follow shortly

i had similar thing, i used zone l@bs, i then was able to permit or block any incoming or outgoing actions.
