Default A quick snap from the kitchen window this morning

    Hi,
Couldn't believe my eyes looking out the window this morning, quick grab of the camera and shot this through the window.. was just a grab and snap no time for fancy settings.
Also the windows were filthy which didnt help

    Oh, its a sparrow hawk.

    Regards

    Elephantsoup

On closer inspection, I believe it may be dead, stuffed by the neighbour as a hoax, but I can't be sure.

Nice shot (if you hit it).

I saw one last year grab a sparrow mid-flight in the garden, it was right above our heads before we saw it. Quick as anything. Wonderfull to see though.

Wow, nicely done. The best we get around here are squirrels. Gotta love 'em, though.
