put the file on the phone

then set the ringtone as the file from the profiles menu???

i have this phone and just did that....

as for getting them on there, get a USB cable, �5, ebay, easy as a bastard.

edit: was that a quick enough answer?

I'd agree with Shangrula. I have been using IR on phones for years to backup, restore, add tones and graphics but this phone had it beat. The IR worked fine but was slow for transferring anything of a reasonable size, i.e. 100kb upwards. A DKU2 cable is definitely the way forward and they are mega cheap on ebay. Most come with a disc full of tones, pics and java with em.

I have a 256 MMC in it as well which holds a good load of mp3s for when I am out on my treader in heavy traffic. :whistle It was a nightmare using anything but the cable to fill it full of tunes.

also get a hds-3 headset....mine came with a shit ear piece thing that looked like executive bollox!

or if you're a posh cunt there's pop-port to 3.5mm headphone jack adapters on ebay for about �12
