    News Overclock

Is this good? My System seems pretty stable no shut downs/crashes etc.

Temp seems to hover around 64/65oC.

I'd also think about a faster processor fan as well as a better heatsink once you have some decent exhaust near it. May be worth trying some more powerful intake fans on the front as well. Papst used to do some nice quiet ones.

Yup - thats a very high temp - you're likely to get crashes etc. I used to get those temps with my 2500xp clocked at 3200xp doing some high end stuff, but now it's cool as I have water cooling.

Cheers for advice. I was doing going to mod the case anyway to install a case fan etc.

With further cooling is this a good overclock?

any overclock is a good overclock! unless its too much and you start to damage things, which ya might if you dont get that badboy cooled!!

i only have my amd 64 3200 oc'd 260 mhz or somethin, still feel the difference somehow...

get it cooled, and see what ya can go, things might get even higher if it likes the temp!
