Hi m8, obviously the best one is the 1.5 t-sport but it depends on your funds.
The gls model comes with a/c , but if you can live without it then a cdx should be fine.
The 1.0 is quite nippy for what it is , but the 1.3 is preferred.
There a good little car, not a lot of room in the back, but you can move the rear seat back if you don't need a lot of bootspace.
The trim is rather cheaply made and scratches easily and they don't handle very well at speed.
Reliability issues aren't a problem and their cheap as hell to run.

I own a 1.0 gls model from new and i got to say its a cracking little car. I have a few gripes with the interior in that it scraches really easily and its hard to keep looking "pukka". Dont get the 1.0 version though becasue i pull like crap on hills so i would defo recco the 1.3 at least. Not much difference in the price i think. Oh and make sure u get the 5 door cause the front seat is a nightmare to fold down in that it doesnt go down much at all (i got the 3 door). I thought though that the cdx was a higher spec than mine but i might be mistaken. The 1.3 sr are a good model to go for....
i had a yaris hire car last year, i thought it was a cracking little car - loved the hologram speedo in the middle, but i wouldn't buy one myself i prefer bigger cars.
my nephew has a Yaris Blue. it's 1.0 but a neat little car, pretty nippy round town for what it is. agree that the T-sport one looks the best though but the Yaris Blue does look nice. Just needs some alloys to set it off
Thanks for that chaps....just roadtested the 1.3 at local dealer. Must say nice car but i think the boot is tiny and to sacrifice legroom in the back to make it bigger does concern me.
We have decided to spend about £6000 topps and going to road test all the small cars on the market to see whats best for the Girlfriend to use. Dont need a bigger car as i have the
laguna to use as well.
@ Urbanmiffs Would really like her to buy a scooby but cant see me getting away with that lol Think you know where im comming form lol
