I had the same problem a few weeks a go, L4dderon, cant download attachment as it contains a virus (it was a regular .pdf from work, with no virus), and worse still, when I forwarded the email to another account to get the attachment, it was corrupt and I couldnt use it.

I wonder why anyone is still using Hotmail, in these days of reliable service from Yahoo and Gmail. Their service is totally shit, if you don't log on for 30 days, they delete all of your mail and ofcourse the usual SERVER TOO BUSY message. Guys don't bother with it, if anyone wants an intro to get a Gmail account with 1 gig storage and no tag lines at the bottom of your emails then let me know and I will be happy to send you an invite!!

Yeah it appears to be good but bear in mind you delete something from gmail and while you may not be able to see it the policy is for it to still be available should a law enforcement agency come to them for info. So deletion isn't true deletion.

Not the way I like to manage my mail I'm afraid.

i mostly use my isp mail address.. outlook does all that and hotmail. dont really use hotmail.. use gmail for the odd site registration, and shit i think might get junk mail from. cos the gmail junk filters are pretty good so far, and im getting about 30 a week lol, but i never see them.

also bloody handy for backing up large attachments.
