      Hi guys i need more help again i have got a (Compaq Presario 12XL302 and it has got a 6gig h/d in it which is fau lty i have been offered a (IBM Travelstar, Model IC25N020ATCS04, 4200 rpm, 20.00GB) would anyone know if it will fit in and work on my compaq cheers for any help (m)

      Yeah I would think so. If the other one is a standard 2.5" drive then no issues.

      Only real issue with laptop hard drives is the hight check the dimensions otherwise it should be ok

      One other consideration - Does this model require a "Rompaq"?
      If so, you'll need to visit Compaq support.
