apparntly WWE desperatly want a deal done with their former channel of choice, the USA network, as they were more 'out there' and they were able to get away with alot more stuff (chair shots, blood etc)

It was also the channel the were on when they recorded their higest ever ratings.

Jeff Jarrett is apparently in New York City right now and according to one source is meeting with Viacom executives. Apparently, Jarett is indeed meeting with Viacom about getting TNA a clearance on SpikeTV, possibly on Monday night to replace the WWE programming when it leaves SpikeTV in September.

Jeff Jarrett being in New York is something we have already talked about expecting, and some people involved in his negotiation with Viacom wants WWE to know they are meeting with Jarrett since their ending of negotiations with WWE left hard feelings between the two.

It should be interesting to see what happens, because if TNA is about to secure a television slot on SpikeTV, especially on Monday nights, it could definitely lead to another Monday night war.

On a related note, there is still no official new cable deal for WWE to announce at this time.

Is there a chance this will be shown over here if this goes through?

The Wrestling Channel shows all TNA tv shows and PPVs so im sure they could strike a deal to show it in the uk if it goes thru and if TWC is still about.
