I've had both a K reg ST183 (pop up head lights) and an L reg ST202 (twin round head lights) Celica. The ST202 is slightly faster (165bhp'ish compared to 155bhp'ish), better built but both are extremely reliable.

Both of mine were imports and had all the electrics and extras, slightly higher insurance than a UK model though.

Great cars though! Might even have another in the future! Check out http://www.celica-club.co.uk for advice (they're very friendly over there)!

well i bought one, here it is, 1995 Celica GT 2.0 twin cam 16v, 106000 miles on clock (the blokes been to spain twice in it) and 2 owners, the last owner has had it for 8 years (most of its life) and he's about 58 or something, there isnt a mark on it and iam well chuffed with it. Ive wanted one for about 5 years now. Pais £2500 for it, and to me, its a bargain, nothing has been modified and its like new.
