hi i got the new msn 7 recently and saw the what im listening feature and quite liked using it but i cant get it to work on winamp do i have to use windows media player?

It will only work with WMP
Heres the Notes from M$:
Not aware of there being a Winamp plugin yet - would prefer this myself and a quick search last night proved fruitless.To show your contacts what song you are listening to on Microsoft Windows Media Player:
1. Click next to your personal message, and then click Turn on "What I'm Listening To".
2. To turn this feature off, repeat step 1.
Notes
The name of the song and artist that you're listening to will appear instead of your personal message (A customized message that appears next to the contact name in the MSN Messenger main window.) .
This feature is compatible only with Microsoft Windows 2000 or later.
If you close Microsoft Windows Media Player, your personal message reappears until the next time you listen to music with Windows Media Player.
If your music information doesn't appear when you play music on the Windows Media Player, check your Windows Media Player plug-ins to make sure that MSN Messenger Plugin is turned on. See Windows Media Player Help for more information.

this works no problems with iTunes
But that patch that was posted above wil do the trick for ya like.

Hey - don't shoot the messenger (sic) I was only quoting M$ help files for Messenger.....
Course I suppose with the right plugin it will work with whatever you listen to your media with....
