No import Tax PSP's here.....

Ok, thanks goes to Spoonman for this one.

I saw the thread for DVD box office's £152 psp value pack (which isn't in stock either) but found out I would be taxed so cancelled it and ordered two.

1 x from Videogamesplus.ca - PSP Value/Gretsky pack and Lumines for £220 delivered.
Was sent on Tuesday and will arrive via DHL today, phoned them and according to DHL it is marked as a low value package with nothing to pay.

The other one is from Sucess-hk - PSP Value Pack + Extra Battery £198 delivered.
This one hasn't been sent yet but is due to leave tomorrow, I'll update on it when it arrives.
I put in the order notes though to mark it with a value less than $25.

This is by no means a guarantee you will get it free of import tax but I thought you lot should get a heads up anyway, with Videogamesplus.ca I never mentioned devaluing the parcel so I have to assume its standard practice. :thumbs

Now all I need is my 1gb pro duo to turn up and I can put the LOTR trilogy on it...or maybe not. :whistle

Only the basic pack - I have plenty of figure 8 power cables and dont need the headphones. At the time (Given exchange rate) cost £138 + delivery - no import duty was charged - worked out £150 (ish) all in and took 4 days to arrive (And that was over a Honk Kong bank holiday)

I have looked around and this HAS to be the cheapest anywhere at the moment!!

Again - I may have just been lucky and dodged the import duty

Videogames plus are well known for this, but maybe isn`t a good idea to openly tell everyone, as mr. cust0ms may well be watching, and we`ll end up with the same service we get from Dvdsoon, as in 99% of things get charged.

I am ordering the value pack but it doesnt mention if it comes with a UK power adapter. What do I need if it doesnt and can it be bough tover here? Sorry for being thick.

The power supply is multi voltage and will run with no problem, the lead has a two pin end but is unpluggable from th power supply, so.... lead with 3 pin plug or an adapter for the wall socket end. It's a standard small 2 wire lead, you'll have no problems :thumbs

IMHO GBAX have always been well over the odds on prices, and you have to add VAT to the prices aswell, it doesn`t look so cheap then does it. :nowords:

i had this mate and the next day ups came banging on my door, and wanted £22.03 before they would give me my order which came to just under $120 inc shipping

I bought mine from a local shop (spotted on Ebay) who had 5 in stock for £199.00, he sold it to me for £185 since there was no delivery charge to be added. £185 for a Jap value pack and no waiting RESULT . I then ordered (on Sunday) Metal Gear Acid from CD WOW for £29 inc delivery, it arrived on Weds FROM HONG KONG!!!!! that's £29 from HONG KONG IN TWO DAYS!!! if only we could get that level of service and price here in the UK!! Good luck with your orders it's a great piece of kit.
