Slow Down

Hi,

I have a weird problem video or games slow down every few minutes but only for one second and it screws up the sound and causes a delay.

Also Ctrl+Alt+Del does not work at all.

I thought it was a virus or spyware but i've ran full scans.

Reinstalled the sound driver, and updated the graphics driver.

Temps are normal.

Any idea's?

Had this happen to me once, turned out to be a software conflict, I'd installed an old version of Adobe Photoshop 2.0, caused no end of problems when burning disks etc, PC would freeze every few mins for a sec, then carry on as normal, uninstalled the program, & never happened again.

Thanks mate, i'll have a look at what i've installed lately or maybe a system restore should work
