    Default multi vitamins

i was just wondering what these are basically. and what there main uses are, are they good for sport (mainly weight training) and would they be a good thing to start to take.

who else takes them? and what sort?

i know this sounds really dumb but it is late, i am tired and i can't think of any other ways of wording it.:cartman

Multi vitamins are not purely good for just sport. They are good for your health in general.

Adult males don't consume enough essential vitamins (A, B, D, E, B6, B12) and minerals (magnesium, chromium, calcium, iron, zinc, and fiber).

Vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients are important because they help the body run smoothly, just like engine oil in your motor.

I take multibionta - Probiotic multivitamins

I suggest you do start taking some kind of multivitamin as well

Yeh, just like Andy said m8.You should take some sort of MV imo as it gives you the nutrients/minerals etc that can lack in most foods people eat..
There are multiple vit's on the market but I currently take Solgar vm75.They are slightly more expensive but buying them direct from solgar is a hell of a lot cheaper than any supp store...here is something that will explain vit's and mineral's in more detail

Personally i'd steer clear of synthetic vitamins, while your body will absorb some of the nutrients they offer some of the goodness they contain simply isn't and is a waste of your hard earned cash. Try natural nutritional super foods such as Spirulina or a product such as Udo's Beyond Greens that contains 50 different natural whole foods, these are rich in nutrients from vitamins and minerals to amino acids and chloryphll and because they are natural foods they are easily assimilated into the body.
