Attention Is There Life on Titan?

During its closest flyby of Titan on April 16, NASA's Cassini spacecraft detected some surprisingly complex organic molecules floating in its upper atmosphere. Specifically, the spacecraft's mass spectrometer picked up the presence of a variety of hydrocarbons, including ethane and even octane.

"Cassini's April 16 flyby of Titan was its sixth in a series of 45 planned encounters over the next several years." Will be interesting to see what else emerges.

If any type of life (Not inteligent) lived there, they must be well adapted! Actually, i don't think it could be possible as it is too cold!

Yes, other creatures live in freezing temperatures on our planet, but not to that extent! There could be microbial life, but it would be freezed.

But who knows. to our knowlege there is no oxygen or water, so if there is life there, it could be almost anywhere in the universe!

I don't know how scientists can say that wherever there is water and oxygen in the universe there will be life. Why can't life just evolve to even our level on different substances?

    Its mainly because of experiance!

There is water and oxygen here on planet earth and there is plenty of life!

Other planets they have sent probes or satellites and found no life! There is small traces of water on Mars and they have found evidence of what could be or was life!

So down to this evidence, they believe that where there is oxygen and water, there is a better probability there will be life there!

Also, many scientist belive that there is only one way of life, and that is our way! Its like, there is only one way to make fire! You need oxygen and heat! Maybe the same goes for life, but who knows...

It all comes down to the science, which you can't ignore!

Jupiter's moons, especially Europa, are very interesting.
Due to Jupiter's size it's got a huge gravitational pull which causes massive amounts of tension in the core of its moons, thus generaring heat. Europa is covered in ice but nearer its core it might be warm enough to melt into liquid.
