ADSL modem line stats , put me right please

Whats the bits in bold actually mean , and what values would i need if my exchange was LLU enabled for me to get the 8Mbps+ services ??

It's the downstream (DS) figures that are important.

You want low attenuation and a high noise margin, and looking at your figures (15 and 31) I'd say you had a good chance of getting 8Mb.

btw my DSLAM is getting upgraded within 6 weeks , I know its gonna be a hard question to answer but wot would that entail exactly ? Could it be just a software(?) upgrade or actually another DSLAM being installed (only 1 in exchange @ the mo ) , or maybe first move into LLU ?

Could be either software, hardware (to handle more users), or a combination of both.
