Name that game...

When I was a lad (and that's not actually that long ago) I remember seeing a coinop game where you raced a (rally?) car through the streets of (maybe) Italy/France. The graphics looked (at the time) great - 3D and with the ability to crash through tables and chairs that where in the narrow streets etc.

I would have thought that, what ever the game is, would run on todays PC via emulation ok. But I can't remember what the damn game was! :|

Any ideas?

Are these 3d racing games available for PC emulation? (I realise that lots of arcade machines run on special computers with multiple motherboards and stacks of RAM etc, but can you get them anyway?)

You got to race around some french/italian town in mini coopers and stuff

If you manage to get an emulator to run it properly let us know, i'd be interested to know how emulators are doing with the more modern style arcade games.

If you like this type of game make sure you check out neo-drift-out or any other jaleco games with cars in. Jaleco made loads of great drift car games in the mid nineties
