Attention To Import Or Not To Import...

Well i have been wanting one of these for ages ( Novemember ) and now that there are slowly rumors coming out about Sept 1 release date being put back, is kinda pissing me off. So i just trying to get some ideas on if its worth it to import one of these. Basically my biggest worry is the lack of guarentee that i wont be getting, as if it messes up i would have lost a whole lota money. But lads i just want some ideas if i should or not and what prices i should be looking at for one of these for.

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin

you dont need to import one.

you can buy of UK sellers cheaper than import prices.

    give ebay a go.

im sure shangrula will have his input into this thread - hes had so many of ebay (check his latest ebay post...) so he will be able to guide you into what to go for and who to steer clear of

hey if u wanna get one with a guarentee ask if the box has ben stamped by the retailer, that should be enough but a original recipt to back it up, but the stamp really should be enough for a year or so (I think, this is just from experience, you can't beat an original recipt)

if you were interested in a 1.0 psp which will run homebrew and stuff I have one going. In full honesty I am selling it to make a profit but it's a £1 no reserve auction so it's not like i'm foricing anyone into buying it. It's brand new, no dead pixels and i've been playing about with it loading up homebrew games and the like, all works nicely. It's only a standard pack though (no headphones, leash, case) but it's a 1.0, so the extra crap seems irreliavent to most when they know they can run emulators and stuff.

my links in the ebay section under the 'dont user other people's content' thread, i wont spam the link around

if u have any questions I (or I am sure others) will be more than happy to answer them, so go for it if you wanna know something

ok i tihnk i've plugged myself enough here

personally i'd say you would be quite safe importing one. As long as it's a good seller and they say it's new (and you belive it) then you should be fine.

be wary of import fee's and dodgy people but if you're in doubt then post the auction/link here and we'll OK it or say stay away, I know my dodgy auctions and I am sure others do too

more in the PM i sent but essentially the same info...lol
