ive just got my jtag interface soldered all the points but all im getting is erra 43 has anyone any ideas what im doing wrong

Done my first one today and had same probs. Was told to join pins 8+15 together on jtag and start bke 2.2 and up poped the boxkey. :thumbs

have re solders but it just says errer 43 then in the window it say erra cable disconnected

im using ocd commander is that correct

I used bke as you select the model and simply connect to get your ird+boxkey. You have to links pins 8 + 15 on the parallel port of the jtag to stop the error 43. Any other errors after that will be down to incorrect wiring of the jtag to the box.

Yo Im trying to add the jtag tutorial I used. Its in PDF format and by PSXNET and excellent but I can't use attachments. Check your pm

followed the tutorial still says error 43 cable disconnected

sorted it , it works now just did away with my cable and plugged interface directly in ti com port one without the cable and it worked first time must have been a noisy cable
