Can anybody clarify this for me.
I had a conversation today with someone who reckons they can buy a PS3 for $1,200 from the far east.
I think this is bollox as the Nvidia chip isnt available until September (according to Nvidia)
So, is he a pratt? or is he being conned? or is he a little confused?

He assures me its true, and that he has seen pictures etc. & has been told games are available but in Jap language.

He can get gizmos etc as he has an NEC phone thats not widely available yet, (I've seen that). He also has PSP & all games available.
Any help appreciated.

i would say he is talking bollocks. The ps3 is miles away from being released yet. If he did get his hands on one it would prob be a prototype and more than likely stolen from sony or a games developer.

He is talking total bull. Let him get on with it m8, there aint no way he is talking any sense.

That was my thoughts exactly from what i been hearing.
Not been into PS2 since mine died couple of years back.
