Default Suggestions for a BBQ CD...?

tis the summer and were having loads of BBQs and nights out in the garden talking bollocks, we need some music to play but were kinda short on ideas, we were thinking along the lines of late 80s classics, early 90s, maybe even some 70s funk/soul and anything else that can be thrown in, we want it kinda eclectic

so far we have had suggestions..MC Hammer (one of the girls thought that up), stone roses - fools gold, happy mondays - step on (is it..?) and now we got kinda stuck

we also play this wierd tom middleton CD called the Trip, tracklist is on here...
    http://www.leeds365.co.uk/thetrip.htm
we only play the first CD but it usually goes down pretty well

need more suggestions of tracks and albums..so anyone got some for us??

How about a bit of UB40, no 1 really listens to it but it makes decent background music.....

we dont really want anything too deep in one genre as most of the people there have pretty varied tastes, def no korn anyway. I rec a UB40 track would go down well tho, one of the lads is naming his son after one of thier tracks so thats a safe bet

nothing too chilled either, ill check out those tracks suggested tho
