I arrived here a day after the floods, so it was a little miserable. Top left, clockwise; San Augustin Church, Headlines in the local newspaper about the floods, Aduana Ruins, destroyed street in Intramuros, outside the Mall of Asia, my pass for walking in and out past security at Manila airport, Manila Cathedral, stairs from the rooftop bar at the Bayleaf Hotel. Background photo has Manila High School (yes, despite the appearance, still operational) and top right is the (in-)famous Manila Hotel.

Sorry I missed this, had to have surgery on my hand after I got back from Thai, due to a Stanley knife related work injury on my first day back!!!

Anyway, yes I wouldn't hesitate to do Thailand again as it was amazing. I'd minimise my time in bangkok though as ive seen that now and it's just too much IMO. Koh Samet was awesome, but I'm sure the same could be said for the south islands too...however, I have a slight interest now in going Kerala in India

The locals do pronounce it coooone road, it's mad as fuck. We have our own curry mile there now. I don't know how any of them make any money with so many takeaways there.
