Jap PSP 1.50 for download anywhere?

I'm a bit fed up fighting to run things on my 1.00 PSP now and am looking to upgrade it to 1.50.
I can't find the update file anywhere now... all usual places hunted down and I don't really want to buy Coded Arms
Does anyone have a copy or have a link for someone that is still hosting it?

i am looking to upgread too. are there any advantages for 1.0 over 1.5?

by the looks of things, its easier to get games working since you and another 1.0 owner doesnt seem to be able to get anythin goin

i just tried to update using the link and i could not even get that to work.
I copied the eboot file provided in the link above to a folder in the games folder and launched it.
it boots
screen goes black for a while (ms light flashes)
them message appears saying game could not load.
what am i doing wrong??

sorry got it to work now.
i formated the ms and rebooted after copying the files over.
i will now try and boot some games.

Save onto PC, then copy to memory card (via USB cable)
copy it the PSP/Game/Update folder of your memory stick.

updated to 1.5 and now running games from the stick!!!

This is not working for me at all!! Man this is getting annoying!! Right i put it in psp/game/update and then i load it with my psp, it loads the screen then goes black then goes back to the home screen. Ive formatted the card and reloaded it but it still aint working!! Help please!!

worked fine for me
so u made a folder in side PSP/GAME called UPDATE
stik the firmware file in there
should work
also make sure ur batterys charged

try downloading the file again.
you have got the files in the right directory so it should work.
also don't just unplug the psp after tranfering the files make sure you eject it from the PC before coming out of the usb conection on the psp or removing the cable.

Right this is a bit weird but for some strange reason after i formatted the card in the psp and then copied the file accross it not works!! Oh well.. i not sure what did the trick but thanks guys for your help!!!
