HD from TIVO

Ive been given a 120gb hd thats been taken out of a tivo but it only shows 9gb in the pc, is there anyway of converting it back to its full size plz?

Taken out of a tv? I'm guessing you mean a PVR. Chances are that the drive is either locked or the jumper settings are locking it down to 9gb. Post the make and model of the hard drive and i'm sure someone can check it out.

lol, sorry i had to edit my post, its should have said taken out of a tivo, It used to work fine in the pc and then was transferd into a tivo and converted but now i want to use it in the pc again but it only shows as 9gb

Ahh.. you need QUNLOCK which will unlock the drive on your PC - will work fine then.

ARRGGGG WHAT EVER YOU DO DONT USE QUNLOCK !!!! it is a dangeous program one mistake and your drives are fucked... use diskutil instead it has checking routines so you don`t screw your drives up..
