works for me
I just use any diesel (except red of course ) and a shot of Red Line 85 Plus in every tank, my 306 Dturbo runs sweet as a nut on that combo. :thumbs
PS, look for edbracing on Ebay, they sell it cheap as chips.
I try to use the cleaner diesels whenever possible, Sainsburys 'city diesel' one is meant to be the best one.

If my missus fills up with Sainsbury's unleaded her 1800 focus gets around 60 miles a tank less than using Shell, not sure if its Shell being good and Sainsbury's crap but a guy I know well who is the local Bosch/Lucas Service/Diagnostic centre tells people not to use Sainsburys fuel as its the left over rubbish which the major brands wont use, he has had cars in with rough running probs which have been put right by just changing fuel suppliers, Sainsburys solicitors actually threatened to sue him if he didnt stop his claims but they didnt follow it through and he still states the same.

I find most supermarket diesels are pretty crap including the "cleaner" ones.
Shell or BP ultimate diesel fuel are much better. I usually get better milage and car seems to run better more responsive.
BP Ultimate seems to be the best in my Mondeo ST TDCi
I've not had a problem with city diesel tbh, looks like I've been lucky.
Time to give the Shell or the Bp one a go I reckon.

used diesel from sainsbury all the time, and it runs better than with other makes. i think it depends on the car.
i have to agree sainsburys city diesal i think is the best one, much more cleaner than some iv seen.
nik
Found out that if i use SHELL car runs better, thrashing around 1 day and was suprised how well the car was performing, it was then i realised that i was using the same garage for the last 3 fill ups.
ps. To the Golf GTI driver on the evesham bypass..... Better luck next time mate!:tongue
Isn't this just petrol snobbery?
I buy my bread from Waitrose because asda bread is crap.
Higher cost doesn't necessary mean better quality.
Possibly, I get warbys blue bread mainly because they are local and pretty much everything else is pants, kingsmill isnt too bad if warbys isnt available. the toastie and super toastie are wicked. Tescos bread is crap.Originally Posted by CueballKrill

I did see on a services cherwell valley (BP) I think they had a super dieselcost bucket loads more and I aint bothering with it in my van.
