Hi Guys,

First I'd just let to say thanks to the people who have responded already in regards to some of my earlier posts, thanks guys.

I have managed to get a base intranet site up on our network, however there are a couple of things I would like to know how to do, can anybody help on the following :-

1. Within our office, we have one domian lets say called "Office" and the intranet can be found say at 10.0.0.10/index/html . Now, what I want to be able to do is to resolve the 10.0.0.10 address say with the name of intranet. DNS is not used within the domain, so other than a hosts file - what other way could I resolve this IP to the Intranet name within the browser?

2. I would like to be able to create a simple login page for the intranet, without if possible any costs, using what I have at hand, what would be the best way to acheive this? Could I get the login page to check against the domain user list and base access on this?

Thanks in advance guys...
