Silent PSU

My PC when it's on makes sooooo much noise! Anyone recommend a good silent PSU?? I'm looking to spend about £50 or less, I know there are some awesome ones made by quietPC but they seem expensive!

i bought a Hiper Type R, about 55 quid and theyre fantastic, one 120 mm fan in it which is very very quiet, my system noise more than halved when i fitted the beast, i was so impressed. i can acutally hear the gfx cards 60mm fan more than the psu

wouldnt mind one of them myself then, i feckin hate the noise of the massive cpu fan i have on now

or you could always get water cooling and have no noise at all

ummm, i cant remember to be honest, its this one here, but in black, theres 3 different coloured ones, same specs tho

Bonus was it was only £45.00 a while back, came with 2 x braided IDE cables and an extra case fan.

Its rated at 480w (true) and is running my overclocked system no worries..

Anybody tried the Tagan TG380-UO1, been looking at it on ************, looks like a decent PSU, but would welcome some opinions from people who've tried them

The Hiper one is the same price, quieter, more power and better specs...

Read some reviews about Hiper PSU's and they are all good....
