Sky box Problem. Ideas?

Ive a Thomson sky box thats been running fine, but over the past two weeks it keeps switching off. (going on standby).

This can happen anytime during the day or night, and is getting more frequent.

Any ideas what may be causing it?

turn it off for 5 minutes, then hold down "backup" button and turn it back on, it will force a firmware update from the sattelit, this may not fix your problem but you get a new screen background in menus

i would guess at it being a psu fault? the longer its on the hotter it gets. or could be a dry joint? i'll just go and have a look for some link about these probs i got recently...
