probably quite high but you'll have a hard time convincing people who work in shops to let u open the packages and check

Does anyone ko if this will downgrade a 1.51/1.52 to 1.5?

or will i jhave to upgrade to downgrade?

no mate, I belive only 2.0 will display the image format to then start the exploit for downgrade.

It seems pretty safe to upgrade and then downagrade which if u dont like u can then upgrade

Ive not tested this on any other than a 2.0.... but the clever thing is it Downgrades to 1.0 then back up again to 1.5, so maybe worth a try on a 1.52 etc etc....

right...im doin somthing wrong all i get once i copied the files over from my pc to mem card, i open the picture and get some random text appear in a dos like mode from there nothing!!!!

plus do i have to get a usb cable or can i do this via the mem card reader on my lappy?

right figured out i was bein a thicko...now the 1.5 loader wont start any ideas??? i checked in the version settings it now says v1!

ive read that..i havent got a usb cable so i have to swap back and forth from the lappy
the file is on the mem card and i can see the 1.5 update prog but if i try to run it it says cannot run....
ill try some more

Are you downgrading from 2.00 ?
this will not work from 1.51 or 1.52
you Have to upgrade to v2.00 first .

YOU MUST BE RUNNING VERSION 2.0 IN ORDER TO USE THE DOWNGRADER. UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE TO THE LATEST VERSION BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS

You will also need your PSP battery to be charged to 75% and be running off of the AC adapter (as per usual Sony firmware update requirements)

This downgrade has also been confirmed to work on PSP's from ALL regions (EU / US / JAP) and you can upgrade to 2.0 again should you want to. This has also been tested as working.

got it done...cheers for the help..ya cant have anything else on the mem card (like umd emulator) either that or the card has to be formatted by version 2 and not 1.51
