    Games 700 Java Games

I'm new to all this but hey - i got these from a torrent and uploaded them for fun..

Whoop. They work fine on Sony Ericssons (the newer models) but i'm unsure regarding other makes of phonage.

700 Games, including loadsa different football ones, pool ones, golf ones, there's the Yeti series, Flintstones Bedrock Bowling which is ******* ace, Resident Evil, Micro Machines (omg!), Colin McRae Rally. Shitloads anyway.

Split into 3 packs, although you don't need them all to open a .rar

Thanks but most of these don't work on my 6600, the Fifa games are in Spanish, Fifa 2004 had to be deleted via Fexplorer as it wasn't in the file remover built in to Nokia, dodgy stuff, thanks anyway.

Any idea what the Java performance is like on Windows Smartphones? The java games look a lot better than the ones written for Windows Mobile.

It looks like the zupload.com site is goosed at the mo by the way.

Windows mobile games are a bit sucky to be honest Roger but as far as i know, smartphones won't play java games.
I've just upgraded from the SPV E200 smartphone to the SE w800i and the amount of games i can get is unbelieveable. If you want some smartphone games i still have some on my hdd (as my phone only arrived this morning!) I can post or pm you with them if the forum lets me. Seven Seas is ok, slurp is a decent puzzlerTrick soccer is fun but Virtual Pool Mobile is probably the best one about.

Cheers russbeer, I managed to get hold of a zip file with a load of games on.. some of them seem quite decent. As luck would have it the ones you mentioned above are all included, I'll have to give them a try.

I've got the Samsung i300 Smartphone, decent enough phone - mainly got it for the 3 gig storage on it so I can use it as a personal stereo, and it runs Tom Tom, all good.. it will play Java games on it - I've managed to play a Sony Ericsson version of V Rally on it without any problems, so I'll give the links above another try, see what I can get to work.

    Anyway.. k+ for the recommendations!

http://www.aivanet.com/forumdisplay.php?f=10 is a forum with a Windows Mobile gaems and applications request service, people with the same phone will post stuff you can use, and there are a few games and quite a lot of apps already on there. (You may have to register)

Otherwise, as far a finding out what games will work, i would normally suggest the o2.co.uk/games site or gamelofts site, but neither of them have your phone on their lists, so it might well be trial and error i'm afraid.
Astraware, Absolutist and Sony mobile have a few games for it, check their sites also.
