RSS Feeds

Have you guys got any plans to allow subscription to forums via RSS? I'd love to get a list of the latest posts along with my other RSS bits in Newsgator.

I think you can already do this, put the following link into your rss reader:

http://digital-forums.com/external.php?type=rss

and see what happens.

weird - i was thinking the same thing earlier on

when i try that link i get an xml error saying the root element is missing.

is this link just available to admin ?

there are issues with the rss feed that we've no idea are causing them, in theory we've had an rss feed for about 2 years but for some people it works and others it doesnt, it also randomly works or doesnt we've tried playing with the settings (it was so long ago that my admin panel still worked on stuff like that).

Doesn't work sorry, no feed information is contained within the xml file.

Theres normally like 4+ pages of new posts when I check say thrice daily, how many can newsgator handle?

Also should be fairly simple to whack up a homemade RSS script for each user's new post list but looking at the current new posts coding and hacking it into rss feed ;P simple as

or even just write something up to read current newposts list and do a big of str_replace to turn it into a rss feed which isn't that hard either
