Question regarding Sky on PC

Hi all

I have a standard Sky package (no Sky+) on the TV dowstairs and I'm interested in having it in my room on the PC as well. Could you please advise a) which PC tuner card to get (doesn't have to be a fancy/expensive one) and b) would I need a second sky subscription? (I have no idea how that works or how much it costs)

Do you mean to watch a different channel to the one on the other box? If so, you would need a twin-view LNB on yer dish, and another $ky box. If you want to watch the same channel, you can just use a scart block to get the video and sound line outputs to go into your PC.

Easiest way is to get a "red-eye" $ky gizmo, video card with RF input, and then you can change channels from remote location

Already have a video sender I bought from Dixons, but I wanna be able to watch my own channels as the one down-stairs is often in use for 'Corrie' and 'Eastenders'. But I won't get into that
