    Default Echo Transit Van

rite guys, first for me posting in here, me m8 drives an Echo Transit Van with one of them big radios in, like the ones in ford focus,s.

anyway the radio is locked and when u press a button it comes up saying LOCKED 13, now he HAS got the code to put in it, but the trouble is that because when you press any button it comes up saying locked 13 he cant actually type the code in.

so does anyone know how to actually get to type the cde in and get the radio workin again

    any thoughts appreciated guys

you'll need hardware now to remove this to get another 13 attempts.

you can buy this for around £80 or a pro decoder will charge around £15

yeah m8 he has got the code to put in as i said above, it just wont let him.

as for neeeding hardware, jesus didnt think it would be anything so drastic, i thought disconnecting the battery or summit would do it, he will have to get the company to sort that then as i dont think hes gonna spend £80 on a company van.

    cheers for the replies guys

Take the radio to a decoder near you, you'll only pay 15-20 quid to get it unlocked. The hardware you'll need is here:

If you can get theradio to me and/or pay return postage I'll do it for free.

    Cheers...

he tried holding down button 6 m8, it didnt work.

as for takin it to a shop to do i dont think hell do that if it isnt his van thanks a lot for the offer of sending it to you tho m8 thats very good of you, but as i say he/we thought there would be just a quick fix to get it sorted, now we know there isnt.

    cheers for the replies guys
